![]() I attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington where I received a BA in English and Education. Graduate school at the University of Washington led to a Master of Library Science Degree. I've been a classroom teacher and a school librarian. In addition to novels and short stories, I've written critical essays on writers, articles on writing, and scripts for the educational market. I established the Edmonds Writing School ,where I taught classes in fiction and nonfiction writing and a special class in romance writing. Teaching the latter led to the publication of the award-winning How to Write and Sell Romance Novels. My professional memberships include the Seattle Chapter, the Faith, Hope, and Love Chapter of Romance Writers of America, and EPIC. As an artist, I enjoy working in a variety of media, especially watercolor, colored pencil, and pen and ink. Other spare time pursuits include collecting children's books and anything to do with wire-haired fox terriers. |
